可変ピッチのショックアブソーバー、カーボン・スタビライザー、フローティング・ムーブメント、Fortal HR®ローター、電解加工によるカウンターウェイトなど、R-46は、B.R.M ChronographesブランドのスポーティなDNAを受け継ぐ特別な作品です。ケースはステンレススチール、チタン、ステンレスを巧みに組み合わせたサンドイッチ構造で、3つの高品質なパーツはブロックから削り出され、驚くほど軽量に仕上げられています。
ムーブメントは自社開発されたもので、そのデザインは、まるでエンジンのようで、2枚のサファイアガラスによって外部の衝撃から保護され、あらゆる状況下で情報の視認性を最適化しています。
また、48時間のパワーリザーブには、6時間ごとに目盛りが刻まれた燃料計のようなハーフゲージが設けられており、この時計のユニークさをさらに高めています。
